I choose sustainable, responsibly sourced brands wherever possible.

Even though Plum is a small business, I still want to make as much of an impact as I can, choosing sustainable, responsibly sourced brands wherever I am able to. As a small business it makes it tricky for me to be able to have the same budget and choices that a larger business would have, however I am constantly looking to improve the environmental impact that Plum has as a business. My favourite brands are ones that choose recycled, low impact and ethically sourced fabrics and business practices. 

Pieces that are chosen to last

Plum is not fast fashion! My boutique is not about buying new pieces constantly. I focus more on staples and capsule pieces, chosen so that you would want to wear them again and again.

EcoVero™ Sustainable Viscose

I choose brands where I can that use Lenzing Eco Vera viscose fibres - which use at least 50% less water consumption. Derived from wood in responsibly managed forests.

Eco Vera fibres can break down and compost at the end of their life cycle.

Tencel™ Natural Fibres

Another of my favourite sustainable accreditations that I like to look out for in the clothing that I buy.
